Wu Chi is still while Tai Chi stays in motion. Being still and being in motion have their respective normal states with own sets of rules. The Universe moves constantly and endlessly, and one should act in accordance with the time and the fortune instead of being headstrong and stubborn. One should emulate Tai Chi to pursue adroitly the doctrine of the Mean, allowing the hard and the soft to complement each other and the good and the evil to co-exist at the same time.
