每週金句-No.003 無故而怨天，則天必不許；無故而尤人，則人必不服。天地間，惟謙謹是載福之道，驕則滿，滿則傾矣。凡動口動筆，厭人之俗，議人之短，發人之憂，皆驕也。凡為人修道，滿腔驕傲之氣，開口便道人長短，笑人鄙陋，均非好氣象。

沒來由的抱怨天，天是不會跟你相應的；沒來由的埋怨人，對方一定是不服氣的。在天地之間，要想有福氣，必先要有謙遜謹慎之心。謙受益，滿招損。驕傲的人，容易自滿，而自滿之人，易遭受失敗傾倒。不論開口講話或動筆寫文章，時常厭嫌貶低人，評議人之短處，好發討論人之所憂，都是傲慢之人。修道之人，若全身散發驕傲的氣息，開口即說人的不是，嘲笑人粗俗，這些都不是君子氣度。
Complain about Heaven without causes; that is prohibited by Heaven. Blame others for no reason; that will invite their animosity. Between Heaven and Earth, the only way for anyone to acquire life’s blessing is being modest and prudent. Just like pouring water into a vase, a proud man is equivalent to water’s filling up and, when the vase is full, water will overflow and the vase capsize.
