陽明夫子說：「消滅山中的盗賊容易，滅除心中的貪婪和慾望很難。」人的慾望就像山中的盗賊一樣，不斷伺機掠奪侵蝕我們的內心，使我們失去理智，做出錯誤的行為。克已復禮，是持續以禮修整自己過猶不及的身心言行，回歸中和之道，不僅是古人的智慧，亦是身處現代的我們當務之急應當學習的品德。
