每週金句-No.148 人不可無恥，無恥之人，如病封喉，雖有神丹，亦難入腹，難救重疴之疾。
人不可無恥，無恥之人，如病封喉，雖有神丹，亦難入腹，難救重疴之疾。
孟子日：「人不可以無恥，無恥之恥，無恥矣。人非聖賢孰能無過，過而不知恥，大患也。」不知羞恥的人做事不能守住道德的底線，久而積習，如久病而入膏育，怎奈因陋習封住喉嚨，縱是有神丹妙藥也不能真正入腹。倘能知恥而後勇，則癒大病、遠災禍。
A man must not be shameless. A shameless man is like having a throat-closing disease and, even if there exists an elixir, it is difficult for him to swallow the elixir to cure the said serious disease.
